Polypropylene offers high strength-to-weight performance and is available in many construction methods using monofilament fibers, which are smooth and velvety, and
multifilament fibers. Both fiber types are UV stabilized to provide resistance against fading and degradation. Waterproof polypropylene ropes float and are also resistant to rot, oils, gasoline, and most chemicals.
Nylon is recognized in the marine industry for its inherent strength, durability, and versatility. Its elasticity allows it to manage the sudden shock loads that would break ropes constructed from other materials, making it a leading choice for anchor and dock lines. Nylon is also abrasion resistant and will last much longer than natural fiber ropes. Made from multifilament fibers that are light and heat stabilized, nylon rope is also resistant to rot, oils, gasoline, grease, marine growth, and most chemicals.
The perfect choice for an economical yet long-lasting anchor line. Polypropylene resists UV rays, rot, abrasion, mildew, oils, gasoline, and more. Floats for easy retrieval.
